Long trip. Maintenance up to date? Definitely don't want a leaky radiator for a trip like that. You don't say how many miles are on your e93, and that could matter for things like coils and plugs.

If it were my car, I would probably get an oil change done and do a rotate & balance of the wheels. Double check my tire pressures.

66k miles, oil change within the last 500 miles, serpentine belt replacement, aluminum coolant flange, aluminum charge pipe

60k miles is where I would replace all coil packs and plugs on an N55. FCP sells a kit for around $300, and you can DIY in under 90 minutes. Only tool I needed that I did not already have was a thin-wall socket for the plugs, as my standard plug socket would not fit.

That charge pipe is big. I have gone through three of them over the years (three different e9x's).

My niece just had her radiator die in a 2011 e91. So brace yourself, as that is not a cheap replacement. Might as well get the water pump and thermostat done, too, if you are already in there.
