Help Needed: Drivers Door Locking
Need some help with some electrical stuff I am not very knowledgeable on. The drivers side door in my 2011 335i e92 M sport does not respond to the remote at all. Physical key works for locking and unlocking. Clicking lock or unlock gives nothing, but passenger works fine. I thought it would be worth noting that the Convinient Open and Close works perfectly fine with drivers window. I started inspecting some fuses (61, 72, 73, and 79) and found that 61 was popped. I believe it is related to Comfort Access, so I replaced it. After replacing, the remote worked to lock the door ONE TIME, then nothing, but the fuse did not pop again. Also, CA is not working. That’s a whole other can of worms I imagine. After reading a few forums about actuators failing it seems to me that there should be a distinct noise if the actuator is failing on drivers side, but I hear nothing. Any help?

Very likely your actuator is shot. Mine failed but no noise also. Grabbed parts from the salvage yard thinking I could swap out parts only to find that newer actuators are riveted together. Purchased a new one, swapped it out and all is right with the world.
