Limp Mode & Unresponsive Accelerator Pedal
Have a 2008 Bmw E92 320D. Owned it for a little over a year now and have had no problems up until recently. Flywheel disintegrated so changed that and the clutch myself but since doing that my car has been in limp mode. it started off as an intermittent limp mode but now the car won't even move. The accelerator pedal also has become unresponsive, however sometimes it will respond but the RPM drops way below idle then goes way above idle before returning to normal. Ive tried to diagnose this myself already and have tested all of the connections between the accelerator pedal and the ECU and have also checked the power running to the pedal aswell and all seems to be good. I took the car to a mechanic and he said it could be related to a bad glow plug and could be an issue with the dpf not regenerating. Ive changed the glow plugs and also have removed the dpf, as I only had it back in the car for an NCT (roadworthiness test where I'm from). Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I feel like ive tried everything and I think ive just used the extent of my knowledge on cars and haven't gotten any closer to fixing it.
