That's what I have planed to do so far - would be open for any recommendations from this forum
Very nice! It would’ve been nice to order a fully optioned e90 back in the day. I’ve slowly been adding options to mine.

You mentioned some I would get.
I’d recommend to you the black headliner.

Other ones I’d want, front and rear PDC. I saw it looks like you have rear already.
Comfort access and Heads up display.
All I can think of for now.

Interior will be in dark grey alcantara and white nappa with green stitches.
Front and rear PDC were one of the options the car had from factory.

Thank you! Just ordered them from BMW - they cost around 1.000€ (left + right, with mirror glass and memory)

Garage List
This is a fantasitic project sam_ssr. I had an E9X and remember the day I drove it off the dealer lot, brand new. I'm quite jealous you'll be experiencing that many years after the car ended production. Can't wait to see the seats.

Sure, as all the leather and alcantara parts are new and the plastic parts are new it should also smell like new.

Those M3 wheels are 19 and won’t clear the fenders with proper tire sizes. Also the M3 exhaust won’t fit the M Tech bumper. Are installing M Tech trunk spoiler too?

For the wheels I took the tyre size of the M3
For the exhaust I must use a custom made diffusor

And yes I will also install a carbonfiber M Performance trunk spoiler.

So is this basically a pre-LCI e90 to M3 appearance conversion? Are you gonna be putting on an M3 badge?

If that is what you are thinking about this build, than you didn't get what I am doing here

BTW: A 400hp+ 330i with an supercharged N52 and performance engine parts doesn't need a M3 badge

I would/want to do this to my 2007 e60 530i that we converted from SMG to 6speed….but I need a money tree for that. Especially since I have to pay for an indy mechanics labor

But love the project and color and interior. Which transmission did you go with for 400+hp?

Thank you! Gearbox is a custom made ZF 6 Speed AT since I am a little lazy for MT.

Details about engine and gearbox/ differential changes will be uploaded later.

To be fair nobody does, because you never mentioned 400hp until right now. But you have mentioned M3 Front and rear bumper, M3 exhaust conversion, M3 mirrors, M3 wheels, M door sills, M pedals, and M3 lookalike seats... so its fair to assume you want an M3.

For the record I have no issue if you badge it an M3. People can do with their cars what they want. No need to be defensive. I will say though that if you're spending this money for all these M3 parts, directly from BMW, on a RWD 330I, sourcing a low KM M3 would have likely been the cheaper option. Its clear that's not what you wanted though and that's fine.

No offense! I hate to put an M3 on a non factory M3. But since I am building my own version of a E90 I will choose some parts from the M3 model because it simply looks better and like the exhaust I will get better performance.

Front and rear bumper are M-Tech never mentioned that they are from a M3. In my second post I mentioned that I still dont know which exhaust system I will choose but with that much power I would prefer a quad exhaust and I thought the M3 one is the most authentic from the look and performance. M Pedals and door sills are on every E90 with M Package as far as I know. I didnt know that Recaro M Performance seats are look a like M3 seats ? I just changed the interior to nappa white and grey alcantara.

That is a M3 replica front bumper not a M-Tech.

Still looks good as long as fitment is on point.

Your rear bumper is m-tech.

Yes you are right, the front one is non-BMW part. I meant its not from an M3

Yes, m3 tire size won’t work. You will destroy the wheel arches. For the exhaust you need m3 truck tub as well. Modify the exhaust hangers too.
