My 130i was having bad misfires for a long time, so I decided to clean all my injectors (ultrasonic cleaning) plus a new coil that was failing. Car started running great and mpg went up. Two weeks later I started having a misfire after a few hard accelerations. Came home and plugged in INPA, it was showing something related to the Cylinder 4. So I bought a new coil. Replaced it and the misfire continued. I plugged INPA once again and I READ the freaking code, it was 2E33, meaning something related to the injector in Cylinder 4. So I moved it to cylinder 1 and sure enough the code went to cylinder 1 2E30.

Can I assume it is a bad injector? Why would it fail after cleaning them? Could the others just fail soon too? It is just so weird to me

Other things to note, idk how but there is a little bit of oil in the injector plugs, in 4 out 6, how can this happen? Could this damage them?

Car has 166390 km. Injector cleaning went just over 1000km earlier.
I had a N52 powered 325i with 250K miles (400K km) when an injector failed. I didn't bother replacing all six, just the one that failed. I got a used one for under $10 and the car is still running just fine with the new owner still driving it daily.

It's not common, but it can happen. I consider it a relatively easy repair job so I'd only suggest replacing the one that failed.

There is always a chance an injector could break after a cleaning service. Several places I looked into had this disclaimer.
