Cool BOV sound but one my mini filters, the rear one, has its round end cap glue that melted or something, and the plastic cap got ejected somewhere in the abyss of the car... probably bad quality mini filter i got and very hot area too + releasing pressure on it + maybe not built to be used this way (blow instead of vacuum)
I put back the hose for now, i need to order better one !

Ya most of them are made in China crap lol. Mine are cheap too but have held up just fine. I clean them when I do my drop in filter too.
I know k&n makes nice little breather filters but they were pricy.

They work. I keep them at the stiffest setting and it's vented to atmosphere. My OEM were leaking so I replaced them with these until I decide on which blow off valve I want, but I purchased them after watching this:

Usually when the spring is too light, the bov
can flutter.
Have you tired them on a lighter setting just to see if the flutter is better or worse ?

If that doesn't work and you need to go the other way then you can put shims in under the spring to tighten it, or get another spring if you can??

From my experience with single adjustable DV/BOV applications, if one is experiencing surging from the turbo that would suggest the BOV is not functioning / opening when throttle is released. Either you have too much spring pressure behind it and the air charge is insufficient when pushing to assist in the valve opening, could be a faulty valve or a bad vacuum source

I have very little hands on knowledge with the N54 as this is a brand new platform to myself.Tho boost numbers tend to be on the lower side to what I am use to. I would start low spring and then add turns, then shims. The tighter you crank the top, the more pressure that valve is going to hold.

For plump back? or connection between charge pipe and BOV?

As mentioned i got atmo version. eg. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1000005674606.html

But if going for plumbback version you might be able to get something like this but you may need an 90 elbow for the front one. Or there could be 90's elbows already in 25mm.

I think just Amazon or EBay. Just need ones with 1 inch Inlet size.
