2e7c diagnosis HELPPP

have a persistent 2e7c code which i first noticed when the car died while driving due to the battery not being charged
I replaced the alternator right away and this issue did not go away i proceeded to try diagnosing hy unplugging each component of the bts and the 2e7c code never went away i changed out the ibs and waterpump wiring looks to be in good condition should i take it to a shop or is there a more accurate and definitive way to diagnose that i can do at home with limited tools

Have you unplugged the IBS blue plug to see if issue resolves?

See the Service Notes of the following BMW Fault Code Lookup Information sheet Link:
https://bmwfault.codes/DiagView?id=M...E2NDU1MzEwNQ==

Please let us know if that works.
