Radiator fan issues

Hey everyone,

I recently have been rebuilding my 2009 e90 335xi. Everything seems to be in order apart from the radiator fan refusing to turn on.

I have tried activating the fan through MHD max cooling and ISTA and still have had no luck. The fan is getting 12V power through the power main and the PWM wire seems to be outputing a signal.

I pulled the fan and plugged it into another e90 and with AC ON and the fan started right up.

I have a fan activation code. I've checked the fuses and ONE relay in the ebox, swapped around and still no luck.

I've been reading about issues regarding low refrigerant, as well as the relay that controls the fan after shutoff, but not sure how to diagnose this any further.

Im grateful for any help or insight into this issue!

What exactly do you mean by rebuilding your car? Whats the cars history? We can start there?
