E92 door open light keeps showing up from time to time and door lock malfunction

Hi guys,
I have a BMW E92 330d (2007) and I’m dealing with a really strange issue where the car keeps thinking the driver door is open and the locking is malfunctioning.
At first I noticed the windows going up and down randomly and the car showing the door as open even when it is fully closed. Because of that, I changed the door lock mechanism (door latch actuator) on the driver side, but the problem stayed exactly the same.
After that, I was advised to change the FRM and get it coded. I replaced the FRM (same part number) and coded it properly, but it didn’t fix anything. The car still thinks the door is open and the behavior is the same.
Another issue is that after changing the lock actuator, the locking on that side does not work properly, and now both doors do not lock correctly with the remote or the interior button.
Then we also changed the JBE (junction box behind the glove box), thinking it could be the body electronics module, but again no change at all. The symptoms are still:
  • Car randomly thinks driver door is open
  • Windows index/go up and down
  • Locking malfunction on both doors
Now the next thing we are planning to check is the fuse/junction box area behind the glove box (fuse panel and power distribution), because FRM, latch, and JBE have already been swapped with no success.
Has anyone experienced an E92 where the car falsely reads the door as open and causes window indexing and locking issues even after replacing the latch, FRM (coded), and JBE? Could this be CAS, wiring signal issue, or junction box/fuse carrier related?

you should check the wiring from door to body in grommet
and put the direct wires temporarily to isolate old wiring
