Well, we'd refer to this as the Curbside Classic effect (meaning that as soon as you see something about something in writing, you are soon to see it IRL) on some other sites, but today at the airport, I found a 6sp RWD E91 parked directly behind mine as I went to pick up my car from airport parking.

Perhaps it's someone on this site with a LCI Silver E91 RWD with a 6sp...in Connecticut.

As I said, they're out there. (and particularly present in some parts of the country)

Roughly 500 sold in the US. For sure, if you want a 6spd wagon, New England is your happy hunting ground. We cheapskate Yankees knew a good buy - the stick was $1200 cheaper until 5/2011! And foregoing AWD saved another $2K or so. We New Englanders don't need no steenkin' AWD to get around in the snow. Though that said, mine was the ONLY RWD 6spd wagon my dealer in Maine ever sold, but they sold decent numbers of AWD 6spd wagons.

I get to drive mine in a couple of weeks, as I will be in Maine for a few days.

Beautiful car!! I love seeing them around. The only one I have seen before I saw mine was my uncles in Sweden. He has a 09 in white and a manual.

Considering optioning and shipment numbers to the US I’d like to say they are. But we all have our different outlooks on it.

I am the legend that found this via the decode 😎 and I found the decoder in an unconventional way. Looking for 1986 BMW stuff. I’ll ask about that on a different forum here though

Also, I just noticed, that info above was copy and pasted from my text. You sly dog!

I’ll put this out there to change the perspective a bit. The production of the original 1967 Shelby GT cars was 3,176 GT350 and GT500. Thats around 350-400 more than what the data says 2007 328 Xi touring were sent here. Roughly 2300 of those GT cars are known to exist with a value now hitting 250k.
Yeah its no BMW but for most to consider those rare birds I think the BMW is quite rare when roads where we’re from are beginning to see 40k cars a day and our local BMW plant is pumping out 700 cars a day.
Just a thought

08* but eh close enough. Also you hardly see BMW wagons were we are at. Tourings in the US that were shipped here form factory are rare regardless. Only 2k in 08 were shipped here to America.

The math rules of Discrete Math says your car in its spec by the known percentages and numbers given by BMW should be (theoretically) around ~1/226 built

not sure how rare but I know how much potential those have.....Up until about 5 months ago I never had any interest in the wagons until I saw the right ones and they just blew me away how sharp they looked. I was considering getting one and even went as far as to photo editing the ones I saw online by removing the wheels they had on them and adding 189 style wheels which makes them look even sportier and it gave me an idea what one would look like if I decided to get one. Ill attach a pic of my editing and I think everyone will agree they just flat out look awesome and it just reminds me these were designed during Peak BMW era, when they were churning out the best drivers cars in the world, they were bold in their decision making and fantastic with their designs and I just think there is no such thing as a better looking wagon than these. Slap some 189's on there and suddenly everyone is like what is that?? Enjoy my photoshop work, actually just used microsoft paint, lol of all programs good ole paint.

Im about to buy my second e92 and to me single hump is the only way....When Im shopping for em as soon as I see that bulge in the middle of the dash im out of there and on to the next prospect. About to pull the trigger on an e92 328i it was a special order in Deep sea blue, with oyster interior and this one is an automatic by preference, im just tired of shifting gears and getting lazy in my old age. Hope these autos shift smoothly. Ill attach pics of the one im fixing to get.

The wagons are absolutely phenomenal are are way more sportier than a SUV. With the just about same amount of practicality. Very awesome cars. Especially the n52s. I love mine but one think I love is the back glass opens. (Also, very rare cars. Mines one of just 2,800 shipped to the US for 08. And if you do the math and the options it’s just one of 226. Very cool to see them around. And at BMW cars shows they are a rare sight.

I used to be single hump only but have become hump agnostic, at least with CIC. Our '09 E91 has one, and it's fine with CIC. CCC still sucks though, and is a major turn off when I'm looking at cars. I actually passed on a nice private party low mileage/price MT E93 because of CCC in it. In hindsight I probably made a mistake and should have just got it, but that's how much I disliked them at the time.
