OK fellas I wanna bounce this one off your Beamer gear heads before I start trying to tear everything apart. So I installed the alarm 2000 7 PM BMW install a siren the hood button and the device inside the dome now when I hit the button I get the alarm beep The nose lights up, but when I lower the window, put my hand alarm never went off. I opened a hood and the alarm never went off. I got Beamer tools and the adapter. What am I missing? Any ideas?

You need to code the car for the alarm installed. You did the physical part only, now you need to activate it. I recommend getting Bimmer Geek Protool, but there are other options out there. Google programming/coding E90 Alarm and you'll see the basics process. Good luck, it's not hard and a really great feature to have!
