Whats included in log book service?

guys

Whats included in log book service?

Today i took my BMW 323i 2010 for service.

Log book service $154 and on of that extra charge for oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, engine oil and some others.

Total $500.

Isnt oil filer and engine oil supposed to be included in that $154 or am i wrong?

cheers

Typical oil + filter at a BMW dealer is $250-320. Add the air filter, cabin filter and the usual 'log book service' checks they do, and you'll hit $500.

Not sure what the $154 is referring to..

Take a photo including the itemised descriptions, but it looks average to be honest

here it is. the only thing i dont understand what that $154 charged for as item wise everything else is charged individually.

That line item is your labour charge ($70/hr, x2 +GST). Add that figure with the cost for wheel alignment, and you have the total labour cost as listed at the bottom of the invoice. For the work you had done it's quite reasonable.

The other items listed individually are material charges.

edit: the field to the left of 'financial summary' lists the work performed under the 'log book service'
