4949 fault code

Hi. I have a 2010 E91 Lci with N57D30A engine, I recently changed my glowplugs and the module (Beru GN1000 and GSE108) and I still have 4949 fault code (it was present before the change too). What can be the problem?

Hi. You need a genuine bmw glow plug module, not aftermarket (yes, even though it is Beru it is still aftermarket).
The one you changed was the original? If so, put it back.
Is this code causing any problems? If not, you can live with it.

Your original module can be repaired (need to resolder wires).
But it should not prevent dpf regeneration, I drove my car for a year with non-working glow plugs (though mine is a different DDE version).
Do you have any dpf related codes? You can check on ista+ when the last regeneration was done.

Yes, 452A is the other fault code. Last regeneration was like 300km ago. On the old module the pins dont work (tested with multimeter)

The pins don't work because the wires inside are broken, you have to open it up and resolder the wires, or there are companies that do it for you.
Code 452A does not mean anything, the dpf is probably ok. You can reset it with ista+ or have a garage reset it. 300 km is not much for regeneration.
My dpf is as good as new after 370k km, tested back pressure by ista+.

My DPF at idle 6mb, at 2000rpm between 70-80mb. Are those okay?

Seems ok. But you have to check ista+ and do the test, for me it was 7 mbar at idle and 20 mbar at 2000 rpm (75 mbar max), but you have euro V and more restrictive dpf and also bigger engine.
The best way is to hook up ista+ and do the functionality test, it also tells the max limits.
