Just for info, i had a spun bearing 2 and half years ago and rebuilt the engine and everything has been fine since then.
I have been hearing this knocking noise on cold start on idle and then when the car is warm, the noise is not there anymore.
Otherwise the car drives great
I have checked both the oil filter and the oil catch can for metal shavings, but there arent any.
What is this sound tho ? Is this the normal engine sound ?
I confess i am getting paranoid as i dont feel like going thru another engine rebuild.
Could it be the lifters ?

I have had similar sound for a couple of years on cold start, goes away after a few mins diving,
It's probably Evap or lifter tick,
I wouldn't worry about it if it goes away,
