a number of years back I had a Saab viggen and after some unfortunate events the wastegate line got ripped.
So with that system the wastegate was fully shut and what was supossed to be a ~20psi max pressure; I ended up watching my boost gauge peg well over 35psi into oblivion.
I still have the piston on my shelf
