The only way that the wgdc goes to 100% is when the boost is below target boost, meaning there is a boost leak.
Since I don’t have a boost leak and the actual boost is above target (making more boost) the wgdc percentage should be on the low 20’s.
On late 80’s, early 90’s when there was no tunes to increase horsepower all we did was adding extra strong springs to keep the wastegate closed.
Nissan 280z turbo, 300z turbo, eagle tallon turbo, Toyota turbo….and I never blew any turbo.
