I have not hit anything or potholes so how did that happen, I only have 77k miles!?

Is this a simple take off and put the new part on or is there any pressing, torquing, etc?

Also I just had it in aligned (4-wheel) two weeks ago and four brand new tires, will I have to get it aligned again once I put the part on?

Thank you guys, photo below of my broke baby! 😭

Hey guys,

I’m trying to diagnose a low LPFP pressure issue on my 2007 E92 335i (N54) with a Walbro 450 LPFP upgrade (no port injection) and I’m running into a wall.

Symptoms:

LPFP pressure sits around 40–55 psi
Under load it won’t reach the expected ~70+ psi
Car is down on power / boost compared to normal

What I’ve already checked / done:

Found that the venturi (jet pump) hose inside the tank was not properly connected
Fixed that → pressure improved from ~30–40 psi to ~50–55 psi
But still not reaching normal levels
Checked voltage at the pump (via EKPM):
Around ~9.8–10V during priming
Bypassed EKPM (direct battery power to pump):
Pump gets ~12V
BUT pressure is still only 50–55 psi
So this seems to rule out EKPM / wiring as the main issue
HPFP seems fine (can hit ~2200 psi under load)

Current understanding:

Since direct power doesn’t increase pressure, it seems like a mechanical / flow issue rather than electrical
I already corrected one internal issue (venturi hose), but something is still limiting pressure

Next step I’m considering:

Checking/replacing the in-tank fuel filter / regulator portion of the assembly
Re-opening the bucket to verify:
Pump → top hat hose is fully sealed
No internal leaks or loose connections

Questions:

Has anyone seen an LPFP cap at ~50–55 psi caused by something internal like this?
Could this be:
A restriction in the in-tank filter/regulator?
A small internal leak still present?
Or a bad/incorrect Walbro install?
Anything else I should check before pulling the tank assembly again?

Appreciate any input — trying to avoid chasing the wrong thing again.

I have the walbro 450 lpfp

Here are the links to the logs one is with venturi unclipped and the other is with the venturi hose properly installed: https://datazap.me/u/halitofax/proje...07ju06hal4riik

Thanks 👍

What would be the best fit to tighten this up maybe some aftermarket rear sway bars? I would think this would be a little bit tighter being a Coupe, but I guess it's not because it's not the sport model and I don't have the sport seats!

Any suggestions on tightening up the suspension and body roll is greatly appreciated thank you🙂

I’m trying to figure out the fuel consumption correction in the hidden menu.
E90 325i N52B25.

Before the trip, the tank showed:
10.7 (L) 20.8 (P) 31.5 (Total)

After the trip:
2.1 (L) 22.7 (P) 24.8 (Total)

Difference: 6.7 litres

Difference: 6.7 litres

Distance? 121.7 km 🙃

I’d maybe understand a result of 8–8.5. About 70% of the driving was on the motorway. 5.51 l/100 km is an unrealistic figure for a straight-six 2.5L.

It’s not even that I’m calculating it wrong — based on the distance and the tank readings, this is what comes out.

Does anyone know what’s going on?

EDIT: Yes, I've zeroed the odometer before starting the trip.

I have a 2010 328i e90 automatic LHD that was given to me for free.
Doing some research on the VIN i can see it was a crash damaged, manual e90 from Africa.
I've been going through the problems with it so far with some of them being a fried FRM module, a lot of cut wires up at the front of the car on the headlight harness and misc pieces missing.
The car starts and the engine sounds healthy, but I've been met with transmission codes which put the car into a limp mode whenever you try to put it into gear. Codes associated with this being 581A, 581B, 581C, 581D and 5658. All speed sensor related.
I've already done a service on the transmission to rule that out as a possibility.

So with that being said. I recently went on a trip and forgot to disconnect the battery on the car. When I got back the battery was dead. I recharged it and went back into trying to diagnose it and realized none of the ECU's were showing up. The only thing that sort of communicated was the JBBF module. I connected with INPA and saw the JBBF had basically lost the vin that was coded to it, and everything else.
Weirdly enough, the car still starts, but shifting does nothing. Car doesnt respond to throttle. Which i understand is because the JBBF/JBE is in charge of waking up the other modules.
So what I'm wondering is if the JBBF is recoverable by any means. I've tried coding it through Winkfp and only being met with errors. I've tried multiple sp-datens and am somewhat familiar with the process of using bmw tools. I've updated the cas on my 2008 e91 recently to try to fix an ELV issue.

So is this a situation that can be fixed with coding, or do I need a new JBBF/JBE.

Thank you!

I am glad to be part of the family. I have purchased my first BMW. It's a 2006 325i e90, n54. Got a great deal on the car as it needed some love and care. Immediately replaced the oil filler cap to stop a major oil leak and replaced plugs and coils with high performance parts and the car is super strong at 239,600 miles! Now I'm narrowing down the little things and I'm having a few problems with lighting. Mainly in the headlight area. Upon replacing all of the bulbs in the front I noticed that I have a continuous turn signal lamp even when the car is off and the socket is all charred so at this time I have the bulb removed. Also when I turn on the head lights my left head lamp has a delay upon lighting but after toggling the switch left to right a few times it illuminates and I'm getting a chime with a d shaped headlamp warning symbol on the dash along with a service symbol with the car on a lift. Not the circle lamp warning. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks fam

I discovered a minor coolant leak from the joint where one of the lines from the transmission oil heat exchanger attaches to the radiator. This is a plastic piece with an o-ring that slides into the radiator and is secured with a torx screw.

I changed the o-ring last time I replaced the radiator two years ago with a genuine BMW part but it still never fully sealed. Just recently I had the cooling system drained and decided to replace this with a larger o-ring which worked. I even pressure tested the entire system afterward to confirm there were no leaks. But I guess when things are nice and hot it's not the same. I'm still smelling coolant from the same area and I suspect it's one of the quick connect fittings for the transmission oil heat exchanger.

I can't get a good look without removing the intercooler, but I do remember last time I had it out and was reinstalling the radiator fan, there were some drips of coolant on one of the connectors. When the radiator fan is removed this heat exchanger is left dangling with nothing to support it but the lines. Definitely not ideal for 20 year old o-rings.

Hi guys anyone point me in the right direction, I've got No communication with dsc module after an engine rebuild on my 2011 lci e91 318d n47

The engine will crank but not start, I've checked the fuses behind the glovebox, all seems good, they don't seem to be the same ones as mentioned in a Google search but the ones that are there all seem fine (checked with a multimeter in place).

Thinking it was fuel pressure issue I fired up insta and it came back with no communication with dsc or pdm

Besides a break in the pt-canbus is there anything I can check before shelling out for a new dcs module?

Is there any wiring I could have caught or crushed when getting the engine in or out?

Is there a way of testing the DSC module before I swap it out? A second hand one is only £20 on eBay but it needs coding right?

I'm fed up of this car now pretty much everything has been replaced on it at some point, never had such an unreliable car.

They sent me an airbag where the connectors do not match the one on my old wheel. So im currently stuck without a horn (cause i couldnt wait to install it anyways), and an airbag light of course!

Can this airbag still be fitted somehow? If so, how? Ive thought about if you could switch the connector, but my original connector has more wires going into it than this one does.

I have a e90 320i (n43b20) which have misfire on cylinder 1 and 4 according to motor lamp and obd

codes:
29cd 29d0 29cc

Plugging out the MAF sensor makes the misfire codes not appear
I have tried switching out spark plugs (It was sooted like crazy)and ignition coils on cylinder 1 to no avail.

When I bought the car the crankshaft position sensor was not fully inserted. (inserting it made that error go away)

The previous owner have changed:
spark plugs (i changed cylinder 1 and it was already bad)
ignition coils
fuel injection / Fuel nozzles (idk the right word) I do not know if he has coded them correctly
new chain
new crankshaft sensor ( the one which was not in correctly)
new battery

Can you guys point me in the right direction? Any help is appreicated

Hi

Is it true you need to reset transfer case adaptation with a scanner once you change the transfer case fluid? How critical is this?

Thanks
